My deepest sympathies during your time of loss, my thoughts/prayers are with your family during this difficult time.

Doug was a CoWorker and leader to me, but more importantly a friend.  He always took the time to talk about life, family, and check-in on your personal well being... he worked hard and was passionate about the job but even more so for you the person. I will miss our professional conversations but more so his guidance on life and family.

I am sad to hear the news. My condolences to Family and Friends and Co-workers.
Doug was, to me, an example a great, nice guy. Always a smile and always friendly. We played on softball teams over many years, and he was part of an expanded group of San Jose friends that went to High School together.
God Bless you Doug.

I am so saddened by this. Doug and I met every Wednesday morning at the VA for 2 hours of helping Veterans and talking, mostly talking. He had a great sense of humor and we solved so many of the world's problems. Even with our age difference we found so many things in common. I will miss him terribly. I am so thankful for the time we had together and for his wonderful friendship.

Comfort and condolences for the passing of Doug! I'm so sorry for your loss. I will like to share the following: A couple years ago when I returned to work after a surgery, I ran into Doug in the hallway; he greeted me with a big bear hug and a couple pats on the back; what a surprise. I will always remember that! My sincere condolences to you and your family!

Doug and I became friends in the early 1980s when we both worked at Lockheed.  Doug loved motorcycles, and I remember going on a fun biker-ride to Lake Tahoe with him and about 6-7 others in the mid-1980s.  Doug was an articulate and talented engineer, and also a great softball player.  This truly loyal friend will be missed. Our sincere condolences to his family.

Doug’s leadership was top notch. During our one on one reviews he would first ask about me and my family. Doug and I shared the same birthday and we would exchange birthday wishes on the 28th of July.
Doug will be missed, may he rest in peace, I send my thoughts to his family.
