My deepest sympathies during your time of loss, my thoughts/prayers are with your family during this difficult time.
Doug was a CoWorker and leader to me, but more importantly a friend. He always took the time to talk about life, family, and check-in on your personal well being... he worked hard and was passionate about the job but even more so for you the person. I will miss our professional conversations but more so his guidance on life and family.
I am sad to hear the news. My condolences to Family and Friends and Co-workers.
Doug was, to me, an example a great, nice guy. Always a smile and always friendly. We played on softball teams over many years, and he was part of an expanded group of San Jose friends that went to High School together.
God Bless you Doug.
I extend my deepest condolences to Family, Friends and Co-workers.

Let another praise you, and not your own mouth;
a stranger, and not your own lips.
We are saddened by losing Doug and our condolences go out to his family, friend, and coworkers. Working with Doug, I found him unfailingly positive, helpful, straightforward, and kind in matters large and small. He was an inspirational team leader. In sum, he made the world better for those who knew and worked with him. He will be missed.
Very sorry to hear of Doug's passing. In the short time I knew him, I enjoyed his company on and off the softball field. He was always fun to be around, and a compassionate and caring person. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends - may you find peace and comfort during this difficult time.
I am so saddened by this. Doug and I met every Wednesday morning at the VA for 2 hours of helping Veterans and talking, mostly talking. He had a great sense of humor and we solved so many of the world's problems. Even with our age difference we found so many things in common. I will miss him terribly. I am so thankful for the time we had together and for his wonderful friendship.

I am so saddened by this news. Doug was my trusted running buddy at Sun/Oracle for many years. He was always willing to try crazy running routine I came up with on the spot. I will forever miss his friendship. Deepest condolences to his family.
Comfort and condolences for the passing of Doug! I'm so sorry for your loss. I will like to share the following: A couple years ago when I returned to work after a surgery, I ran into Doug in the hallway; he greeted me with a big bear hug and a couple pats on the back; what a surprise. I will always remember that! My sincere condolences to you and your family!
Doug and I became friends in the early 1980s when we both worked at Lockheed. Doug loved motorcycles, and I remember going on a fun biker-ride to Lake Tahoe with him and about 6-7 others in the mid-1980s. Doug was an articulate and talented engineer, and also a great softball player. This truly loyal friend will be missed. Our sincere condolences to his family.
Doug’s leadership was top notch. During our one on one reviews he would first ask about me and my family. Doug and I shared the same birthday and we would exchange birthday wishes on the 28th of July.
Doug will be missed, may he rest in peace, I send my thoughts to his family.
Doug was a human being first and and manager and employee second. The combination that results in the type of leadership that brings out the best in all around him. His positive attitude was infectious. I will miss his stories and views on life. My deepest condolences to the family. I am grateful for all the years I got to know him.
My deepest condolences to Dougs family as well. I am shocked and saddened by this news. Doug was a great boss and a good guy.
