My heart aches. You were one of the greatest influences in my life, and I am so very grateful for you. May you rest in piece, my beautiful friend, and until we meet again, know that you will be greatly missed.

I am so sad to hear of your passing. You made an extraordinary difference in my life, one I wish I could have told you as an adult. Rest easy and know you will never be forgotten. Much love, respect and appreciation. You will be greatly missed!

Ms.O you were the best teacher, coach and friend. You listened to all our problems and helped to guide us in the right direction. You will be missed but never forgotten.?? Thinking of all the lives you have touched over the years.

Miss O-you were such a huge part of my high school memories! I will never forget you sending a note home from the “Fashion Police” when I wore white after Labor Day, or you taking Lindsey, Kerri and I out for fancy tea in Hampton. So lucky to have been one of your “ladies.” You made a difference.

I literally thought of her days ago. I cherish the memories. She was an amazing person & I am blessed to have called her my friend. A favorite memory was chaperoning her whale watch, she specifically asked for Sue Richardson & me. We accidentally left Sean Peters at the dock while we went out to sea. Many laughs when her, Sue and I were together. RIP Roxanne, give Sue & Nancy hugs for me ??

I am so saddened by our loss, but I know you’re in a better place. I’ve been back home many times and thought to stop by Timberlane to pop in, but heard years ago you were sick....I loved you as a coach of volleyball for the few years I had you, and as a biology teacher and overall mentor...you were like my mom at school who I could always go to for anything and I love you ??

I just hope she knew how much she meant to all of us, how much she meant to me. She stuck up for me, she rooted for me, she showed up for me. She got me through so many days of high school. She was the friend I needed too many times to count. I wasn’t even a good Biology student, but I never wanted to leave her class at the bell. Love you, Ms. O. See you on the other side, sweet angel.

I had the pleasure of knowing Roxanne as a teacher, a volleyball coach, and then I coached beside her. She was a mentor and friend. She had the rare ability to connect with people and give others what they needed. She was an amazing woman who touched my life greatly. As an educator myself I can only hope to do half the good she did. I am sorry for your loss.

I was privileged, along with hundreds of other MASH students to have Roxanne O'Connor early in her teaching career. She was an amazing teacher and more so, an amazing woman. She was also a wonderful family friend.  I was so pleased to spend time reminiscing with her at our 40th class reunion. She will hold a special place in so many hearts.

Roxanne took me to a high school journalism program at the University of Maine when I was 15, nourishing my dream to write. I was amazed that she recognized me and reached out at the MASH 40th reunion. I will miss her.
