I worked for Senator Buell as a summer intern in the mid 80s. He had me scanning the newspapers and cutting out articles about the district, drafting responses to constituent letters, and working on a senate resolution.  I remember him fondly and have a great deal of respect for him. I felt he took me seriously, which meant a lot.  He was full of humor and an excellent boss.
