My brother in law never said no. If you needed any type of help he would show up ready to work. He helped me and my 3 sons on numerous projects and never left until the work was done. We enjoyed lots of great times with Bob and Corrine at Duxbury beach. Bob, Corrine, Amanda and Michael made holiday dinners a special time. He will be missed but will be in my heart forever. RIP Bob
It is with a very heavy heart I write this tribute for my good friend Bob. I met Bob when he started with Sun Microsystems, in 1992. Bob was assigned to manage our company Exabyte as one of Suns suppliers. Bob was One of the most dedicated, hardworking and focused people I have ever met. He was a mentor and became a close friend. I trusted and admired Bob as if he was my own brother and will surely miss our many conversations. I am fortunate to have known him and will never forget our time together visiting revolutionary battle sites in Lexington and Concord, walking the streets of Boston and visiting the Old North church together. May he rest in peace.
It's with great sadness that I write about one of the greatest guys I know. I have known Bob since his early days at SUN. Bob always had time to share words of wisdom, was there if you needed anything, truly an incredible person and a good friend. He was part of an amazing group of people. I will miss him very much and am very fortunate to have had him in my life. May you Rest in Peace
We will all miss Bob’s generous spirit and warm sense of humor. He was always ready and willing to offer encouragement and lend a helping hand to everyone he knew. Requiem in Pace.
There are very, very few people in life that are as all around good, kind, smart & hard working as Bob. My career and life are better because of working with Bob @ Sun. Reflecting, I probably traveled to more places with Bob than any other colleague. Bob was able to be direct & friendly without being a jerk. One final lesson from Bob, how precious life is, Rest In Peace my friend
Well, I'll try to keep this upbeat. Bob was one of the best colleagues I ever worked with. He was a self starting go getter that had a pleasant personality, incredible business acumen, and he was a great negotiator. A few years ago, probably 20 years after we worked together, he helped my son get to a job fair in Boston at the last minute. Rest in peace old friend. John Jennings
The good Lord must have needed one of the finest human beings w/ tremendous supply chain acumen up in Heaven---because Bob had all that & more. I had the great fortune of having Bob work within my organization at Sun. I trusted his knowledge & skill & he taught me a great deal about supplier mgmt & negotiation. He was so kind, always smiling, ready to share a laugh. Will miss my old friend
I was happy and blessed to work with Bob professionally and to connect with him long past the time we worked together. His energy at work and business trips along with his cheerful voice and smile and his willingness to assist and mentor with career insight, advice and assistance were amazing. I enjoyed hearing him talk about his Model A and his family. Farewell Bob.
