A mountain of a man who climbed the heigths of the human soul and chronicled our lives in art and music.
I had the privilege of working with Bob in the Harbor Project Constellation Vote back in 1971, which he photographed and is now in the collection at Stanford. His dedication to the cause of peace and civil rights will be sorely missed.
Bob- You were truly unique. Our lives entwined for a short time but you are unforgetable. I hope your passing was easy. My birthday is now not only shared with Duke Ellington but also your death and Cesar's funeral. When I look at your photos, I always remember you.
