I worked with Rita at Acta Technology where she was the Corporate Controller.  She was just as her obituary says - kind, smart, friendly, engaging, helpful, and supportive.  We spoke several times after she left Acta and I was so sorry she had so many health challenges.  She seemed to endure them fearlessly with a positive attitude.  She will be missed by all her Acta workmates.  

I met Rita only once, many years ago, when I worked for Union Bank and we met to discuss Semprex. After awhile, we started talking about many unrelated topics. She was intelligent, informed and down to earth. I’m sure she’ll be greatly missed by many.

Rita was a bright and talented woman who had a strong work ethic. She also was a great resource to her colleagues and coworkers. I worked with her in the 90s at Deloitte and was always impressed with her on many levels. I was so glad to reconnect with her a few years ago and wish her peaceful times as she was really beginning to deal with the hard times because of her illness.  <3 Beth
