Dear Kathy,
It was with a heavy heart that I learned of Dr Doyle's passing.  He was, without a doubt, one of the biggest influences in my life.  He taught me to think, question and argue and showed me how we could disagree and still be friends.  I am who I am today because of his influence on my life at the University of Portland and later.
