Chuck & I first met in 1982  We had a connection right a way as priests serving in Alaska. Wow! 38 years how quickly the time passes. How precious is the gift of a best friend. Chuck invited me to Az in 2009 for a visit  I was very impressed with Sun City (8 golf courses & You can play them all). So I moved to AZ. I talked to him 3 times a week when he was sick. I will see him in Heaven.

In forever gratitude, I will cherish having Chuck as my big brother. From an early age, Chuck was my mentor for the importance of close family ties, for racial justice, equality for all and what is important in life. I will always remember Chuck and thank him for the closeness of our extended family that Chuck nurtured with much laughter and love. Chuck’s sister, Betsy
