My thoughts and prayers are with the Nichols family. Mr. Nichols was a wonderful caring man. He gave his time so generously for his children and for all of the children growing up in Easton. He was always there with a kind word of support encouragement. We were truly blessed to have had mentors like him as we were growing up. Rest in Peace, you will certainly be missed.
Very sad to hear this. Ray coached both my kids in church league basketball and he and I coached a baseball team in the Babe Ruth League. Our boys played varsity football together at OA. I held Ray in the highest regard and was happy to call him a friend. He was a man of the highest principles. My sympathies to Ramona, Mark and Derek
But, as it is written,
“What no eye has seen, nor ear heard,
nor the heart of man imagined,
what God has prepared for those who love him”—
My Nichols was like a second Father to me growing up. From camping trips with the family to hanging around the house with Derek, he always made you feel welcomed. Dads great sense of humor, and his ability to instill confidence in me is something I will cherish forever. Mr Nichols was a wonderful man, and he had a heart of gold.My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Nichols family.
Know that your spirit of love, encouragement and kindness lives on. We share the same attributes and spirit. Only God knows how our lives will unfold, and He obviously has blessed you immensely. Perhaps we will meet one day in Heaven, but that’s determined by God… You obviously have impacted the lives of many. My prayer is to continue to do the same…
