Phil and Bette were the first couple we met when we moved tEagle Crest. Phil welcomed us and got my husband into the men’s golf club . Phil was great organizer of couples golf and men’s club. He has been greatly missed since they moved.

To my drill Sargent and No Wimp partner    I was fortunate enough to play in Phil’s golf group and partner with him in scheming the layout of the No Wimp Open!   Phil was also my COPD advisor.. I share his illness and he was a constant help in dealing with the condition !  RIP my friend

You will live in my heart forever.....my friend , my brother !   Met you and your Navy buddy together. You were best man for us !  You met my neighbor, and we were in your wedding and Godparents for each other’s children ! Wow !  Life took us in different directions , but our friendship never failed. You will live in my heart forever ,,,,,,..my friend, my brother.     Bernice Noyes Brady

The last year Phil and Betty played they invited me to  Play with them ad Alan Falco on Sundays. It was a miracle. Phil gave me putts, gave himself putts and did not chew me out for not marking my ball. I asked him what was going on and he replied "It's Sunday golf".

I always admired Phil for knowing how he felt about just about any situation and was not timid about expressing his opinion. 99% of the time I agreed with him which is probably why we got along. He was a great contributor to the golf program at Eagle Crest and I'm sure has been dearly missed since he and Bette moved away.

I've known Phil for over 30 years and the only thing more important than Phil's golf, was his family!
True Patriarch. God bless you, my friend.  I hope you are enjoying a few rounds of golf up in Heaven!
My thoughts & prayers are with the entire Chappron family.

God bless you, Phil.

We worked together at Raychem in the seventies and eighties. Phil taught me so much about interpersonal skills that I have used for many years.
Keep hitting them straight and any anything within 6 feet is good
