Dad I love you so much and my heart is breaking right now but the beautiful memories I have will be with me always.
Love your daughter, Deb
Paul was a dear friend. We worked together for 20 years and remained in contact. I felt a bond with Paul through his Italian heritage and love of golf. It reminded me of my father, who by the way, gave Paul a few golf pointers one time. You will be missed dear Paul. Love, Marcia
Paul, I am grateful to have known you and loved you like a father, thank you for all you have done for everyone and for raising a fine family. I wish you were still here. I love you. Don
Pop,
I miss you so much. I still remember being up at Aunt Anita’s in the pool and you teaching me how to swim, or when we would come visit for the summer and we would go to the wall and hit tennis balls. The first person I called when I got a hole-in-one was you ! love you so much!
How lucky I have been to have a big brother like Paul. He has been a constant in my life and I will miss him tremendously but am so thankful for all the wonderful memories
Although I only met Paul a handful of times, it was clear how much he loved his family - my family. The way his face lit up when he was with his great grandchildren let me know what a great father and grandfather he must have been to his own children and grandchildren. My heart goes out to Gloria and all those in his beautiful family. Rest In Peace, Paul. You will be missed.
Paul will always be a patriarch in the Family. A kind and gentle spirit who will be missed. See you on the other side, cousin

To my brother-in-law who was; and always will be, more my loving brother !!! I know that GOD has his gates wide open for you !!!
To my Uncle Paul and my Godfather … I have so many good memories of you! Family holiday dinners, the family camp up in the woods near Hudson, important occasions, you gently removing one of my first baby teeth when it was loose and I was at your house! Thank you for your good and calm presence in our lives! You will be remembered!
I love you, Mike Landi
I'm going to miss you so much Poppy. You were my only grandfather and always gave me so much love and many laughs from as early as I can remember. Thank you for all the long talks of advice and giving me endless wonderful memories. You had the biggest heart and I will carry your memory on forever. I love you so much Pop.
The endless fond memories of Paul that I have comprise quite a library. His vegetable soup that I could never quite score a 10. Dozens of rounds of golf where I rarely beat him, even with his multi-decade age disadvantage. He also qualified as the most fiercely competitive spirit encapsulated in his manner of gentle sportsmanship. One of the most meaningful friendships I've ever had.
Paul, you were always another brother to me. Growing up on Clinton Avenue with your family shaped my life. Every Thursday and Sunday I was there for dinner.
Thank you for indulging me and playing golf with me.
You were a wonderful son, brother, husband dad and grandfather. You will be missed. You will always be better looking than Robert DeNiro.
Uncle Paul, I will always remember your kind and gentle smile and your sense of humor. As a boy, I so enjoyed sleeping over with Joey, thanksgiving dinners and summer cookouts in Hurley, with fresh caught trout! Thank you for taking me up to the camp, fishing and hunting. I've missed you over the past many years but I will always carry with me, fond and loving memories of you. God speed!
What wonderful and precious memories I have of my brother-in-law Paul. How much fun it was to hear him at family cookouts say “who made the potato salad?” He did make the best potato salad! His calm and loving manner was always there to guide and help everyone he cared about. He will be missed by all who loved him. Rest in peace Paul
So sorry to hear about Paul. We will keep him and all of the Gianuzzi Family in our prayers.
Sincerely,
Mark & Annie Hoffstatter
Mr. G—
Really never knew that much about you as a kid besides being the father of my best friend. And at that age, it was typically in Joe & my best interest to avoid the King of the Castle when we were getting into trouble. I got the sense that you let us get away with some stuff at times (it was probably no worse than what you did as a boy).
And when I finally became an adult, physical distance prevented me and my wife from getting to know the real “Paul Gianuzzzzze”.
All that I really did know was that my dad & mom considered you & your wonderful wife to be their closest friends. There were one or two shared vacations and some grand spaghetti meals at your house when our families got together.
A few things I did figure out -- later in life. You made some great sacrifices for your children in sending them to private, Catholic school. And I remember the addition that you built on to the family home so everyone would be more comfortable. On the ground floor, that was a terrific, finished basement where I spent many a day & night playing with Joe.
Those things came at a cost – with you working weekends and at nights at the corner store on top of your full-time, real job. That was time spent away from your family. But you did it for love and to set your children up for success.
And it appears that you were an extremely influential part of your grandchildrens’ lives – there’s some great tributes that I’ve read here & elsewhere.
Through the love and memories you’ve made for your family & with your family, you are immortal.
Stan & Anna-Maria
My memories of Uncle Paul are intertwined with those of Aunt Gloria -- they were a dynamic duo and it's nearly impossible not to remember them together, at holidays or family gatherings, especially those hosted by my grandparents. Uncle Paul had such a warm and kind disposition. He was witty and loving, and he brought light and laughter with him wherever he went.
Paul, Thank you so much for all the great memories. Playing golf w my Dad and Joe G will be a time that I will always cherish and take with me forever. The laughs we shared w Gloria and your son were the best. Through the gates of heaven with God he sure gotta good one in you. No more worries the family will be fine. Rest well. Miss ya Paul G and god bless.
