Tank, I enjoyed listening to you on BCN while growing up, thank you. Rest easy friend

So sad to hear about the passing of Paul Sferruzza, Sports Director, Live remote broadcast coordinator, Ballbusters manager and about 100 other jobs at WBCN Boston. We visited Cooperstown together (twice) and had many a great day rooting for the Sox, Pats, Celts (his favorite) and Bruins. One of the hardest working guys in the radio business.  Rest well, pal.  Love, Tom Sandman

Tank; we miss you and your advice...thirty-one years ago I met Carter Alan (while working) at WBCN. Two years later we bought a home. I will never forget your sincere joy as we shared our news. You hugged me with such tenderness and yummy warmth in your great arms of love. Favorite hug of all time. Your invaluable advice: have separate bathrooms. Happily married twenty-five years.  Carrie

So sad to hear of the passing of my old friend Tank. I am honored that I had a chance to work with him while at WZLX. Will never forget so many great moments with him especially when he took me as his date to a dinner with Bill Parcels. Rest In Peace my friend

I am sorry to hear of the passing of a legend.  I am not a sports fan, but I loved listening to you.  Your enthusiasm and sense of fun reminded me to be more light hearted.  I wish you well with your onward journey.

Dear Paul, Thanks for all the unbelievable memories working with You, Charles, Bill K & Billy W on the Mattress in the early & mid 80’s and then as a Wickid Yellow driver. Memory banks are quite amazingly full. See you further on up the road. Rest In Peace my friend.

I can’t think of anyone in the BCN Family more loving, generous and funny than Tank. God bless you my friend, you sweetened our lives. Judy “Scooter” Carlough.

You are. A lifelong memory for me.  You couldn’t have been more than seven.  Haven’t seen you in more years than I can recall.  You were always a precious teddy bear.  Rest In Peace.  Lynda Biagi Hall

I worked closely with Tank at V-66 when he was the co-host of "Boston SportsBeat". He was always so upbeat and full of enthusiasm. As his co-host Bill Stephens said, "There are very few people I have worked with in TV that everyone loved. Tank was one of them". SportsBeat was a too brief, but special experience. Tank's incredible enthusiasm helped to make it that way. Rest in peace...

So sorry to read of the passing of this great guy. We worked together on a 10k road race back in the day. It was so much fun to spend time with this sports legend.

Awwww Tank. Although the 90’s feel like a million years ago, thank you for inviting me to play mini golf (not really a sport) with you. I was just out of college and trying to figure everything out. You knew radio was my dream but the reality of being in that industry wasn’t for me. You will be missed.
