My first cousin Patsy and I were best friends through elementary school at DCD.  We both loved animals and decided to open an animal hospital in her bedroom.  Some of our patients were actually animals that had been killed by cars.  Eventually we were forced to close the hospital as bad smells spread throughout the Brooks' home....  Her bright spirit of adventure lives on in my heart.
