Nellie and Lew—because we always thought of them as a team, even after he graduated—sowed into our lives as mentors. We treasure the encouragement and advice and love they showed to our family. Nellie was a beloved treasure to us and to our church family. An icon of faith and dignity. She will be missed! I will think of her every time I make one of her recipes she shared.

I worked with Nellie at our old "VepCo for many years and she was always wonderful.  I remember her well as beautiful, kind, soft-spoken, focused and efficient, but still with that great smile and a twinkle in her eye. Yes, indeed, Nellie was so loved by so many and I know she'll be missed.  Please know I send her family heartfelt sympathy and prayers. What a wonderful woman.
