Nancy Marie Marie Harbour

The Alaska Center for The Performing Arts (ACPA) is the crown jewel of Downtown Anchorage, Alaska.  Nancy Harbour served as its President & CEO for the majority of its existence, and its future remains in the care of a highly competent management, staff, board of directors and its Anchorage Municipal government owner.  This webpage serves to honor Nancy's long career of Arts Community leadership--not only in Anchorage--but throughout America's Northernmost State.  With love and respect, Dave Harbour

Dear Family & Friends:
Thank you for visiting my Sweetheart’s page.  If possible, I hope you will be able to join us to celebrate Nancy’s life of devotion and service.  I hope to add more here after the 10th for those who couldn’t attend.

Dear Dave and Family, we’re all very sad to learn of Nancy’s passing. Will the ACPA celebration be available live online through Zoom, Facebook, or some other platform? Those of us in the far-flung corners of the globe would like to be there in real-time in some way, even if we can't add our voices and hugs during the event.

Thank you for your thoughtful note and idea, Mike.  We are implementing some improvements as word spreads and Alaskans from all over check in.  We’ll review options for expanding communications.    Please email me via the link here, with your current coordinates. -Dave

David,
Cliff Thrasher here. You may recall that I was involved with the Alaska Center back when it opened.
Nancy my staff and I shared a window - her office had a front row view into the ticket office. In all my years in the business, I’ve never run into a similar design!
Please accept my deepest condolences on Nancy’s passing. Though I only worked with her eight short years, the memories have lasted a lifetime!
Warm regards
Cliff

How we miss Nancy.  Such a talented individual, she made Alaska a better place.  From her role as head of the Performing Arts Center to her active participation on our many boards and community organizations, her caring and professional skills positively affected us all.  We will never forget our trip to China together as well as our many dinners and card games at home. Fondly, John & Ann

Dear Dave, I'm so very sorry to hear the news.  Nancy was one of the first people I met when I arrived in Alaska to work at Alaska Repertory Theatre.   And I was privileged to work alongside her at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts where we had so much fun doing important work for Anchorage and Alaska. I can remember so many times when she made me laugh.
