Missing your Hello when you answer the phone.  
You sure had a long journey, sure thankful for the most part it was pleasant with only a few bumps in the road. But again, what are Kodiak roads known for!  Sure thankful for you to be my mom. You've made my journey much smoother. Much love and miss ya.

Myrtle was my aunt on my mother's side (Phoebe Larsen).  I was lucky enough to have monthly calls with her over the past several years.  These times were most precious to me. Her sweet conversations always took me back to my childhood remembering how she babysat my brother Cliff and me.  We would remember Alaska through past and present events with great joy.    I will miss her dearly.
