My only regret is that if I had known that the last time I saw you, would be the last time I saw you, I would have hugged you a little tighter, told you I loved you a little louder, and stayed by your side a little longer. You are gone but my heart will never accept it.
My thoughts and prayers are with Michael’s family. I will always remember Michael as a little boy — Peggy and Tom had to cover every corner around the fireplace to keep Michael from bumping into it. Then to see him grow into a fine young man with such a great sense of humor and so very smart. He will be missed and remembered.
I watched him grow as a dental student. I was always impressed by his humor, his love of football, even if it was for the wrong team, and his absolute joy with working with kids. He was a gentle spirit, and the world is a sorrier place for his loss.
I am so incredibly sad to learn this news. I remember Michael as such a sweet boy and I remember how proud Tom and Peg were when he went to college and then on to dental school.
I really admired Michael's career choices and how he chose to serve. The world is a less bright place without him. I can't imagine what this unbearable loss is like for Tom , Peg, Daniel and Rachel. Condolences
