Very sorry to hear of his passing.
He was the Chief Engineer on my last ship, the USS Lang FF-1060.
One of the best, nicest and funniest people I ever knew.

I'm very saddened to hear of Lt Mansfield, passing. We served together onboard the USS Lang, FF-1060. He was Langs favorite officer. He was caring and jovial. He will be missed by all he touched. Prayers to his family and friends.
