Mr. Smidebush was my favorite teacher.  He inspired and encouraged me to become an engineer and I wish I could thank him every day for that.  His genuine love for his wife, and to a lesser extent, his students was obvious every day.  Truly a one-of-a-kind person and the impact he made on Concord High students is remembered
