He was a great teacher, a great thinker, and a good man. Peace be upon you Michael.

I remember Michael and Sharon from their time as Residents on CH4 and adored them both. This is a heartbreaker and my thoughts and love go out to all his family.

Dr. Chalfin was my doctor from 2001 until he became sick and was no longer able to care for patients. He was a rock in my life for all those years, and it has been so hard to carry on without him. I'm so sorry for this terrible loss to his family and to the CHA community. May his memory be both a blessing and an inspiration.
I miss him so much.

Dr chalfin was my doctor for an extremely long time, I believe beginning in the early to mid 90’s until he became ill. I was deeply fond of him, and his intelligence and humor always lightened my spirit somewhat, even during very significant depression. I just learned of his passing yesterday, October 21.
