Met Merrill several years ago when he visited family here in St Petersburg. Being a retired fighter pilot and having read his biography, I was fascinated by the stories behind his biographical exploits…Merrill was an aviator’s, aviator, a man filled with flying experiences and the folks involved,..folks like Roy Rogers. RIP Merrill with a well earned, calm, final flight West.
