Matt was my best friend, co-worker sometimes, he lived with Jennifer & I, and was an uncle to my son. He was the most hard-working individual I've ever met. His humor was second to none, and his resilience over looked all of his traits. Matt being a die hard Boston sports fan, was tough to live with; Us being Yankee fans. Matt was absolutely one of my best friends. I have so many great memories. From watching the Pats together and screaming at the tv to talks that would go on for hours to laughing while helping me hose down Luke after a diaper mishap.He was just such a good hearted person. I loved how much he loved my son Luke. He cared for him like he was his own. He is dearly missed and never forgotten.

I am devastated by this news. Matt was one of my best friends that I met soon after coming to Florida. He was a leader to those around him, not through his words but by his actions. He will forever be missed- but not soon forgotten. Rest easy, Matt.
