Maria was my friend, mentor and co-worker for 25 years.  I loved everything about Maria, from her impeccable fashion sense, to her incredible efficiency, to her ability to tell you everything you needed to know with a single look and arched eyebrow.  Best of all, I loved her incredible, dry sense of humor.  She was kind, generous and fun to be around.  She helped many people.  I miss her
