Mary was such a  kind and gentle soul. I have a particularly fond memory of her and Maria visiting with my husband and me for a weekend at Regal Brass Farm in Groton. Mary was about 13 years old at that time.  I distinctly remember mentioning to my husband that her maturity extended beyond her years. Mary had a certain grace that surrounded her. I felt blessed whenever our paths crossed.
