Lynne’s intellectual curiosity infused with awe were contagious.  She took her students utterly seriously, while at the same time leading our discussions and reflections with a playfulness, which challenged us to new perspectives.  I am grateful for her passion, her intensity of thought, her generosity of spirit, and above, the joy of her marriage with Tom -- all these things have inspired
