October 1974-- my first design jury at Harvard GSD.  I was terrified since most Harvard professors were known to make cutting remarks at student expense.  Fortunately Lou was on the jury and he offered excellent suggestions and complimented my work, a simple gesture which I remember to this day.  God blessed him with a long life and loving family! Such a wonderful man, such an artist!
