Lois was such a warm and wonderful person.  I visited the Lamar home off Rio Road in Carmel many times when Lois & Don were entertaining friends.  I was best friends with son her Rudy and we would always get an awesome sample of Lois's cooking, if not a full fledged meal.  Just the other day, I was talking with Melvin Martins about Lois's awesome "scrable" and garlic roasted Almonds! - Ken

I often checked with Rudy about Lois & Don.  I remember visiting them at their Sonora Home on a Motorcycle trip with Rudy.  Daughter Shelley was always fun to be around & we had such wonderful times -- preserved as wonderful memories.  I miss you Lois, Don, & Rudy  You have all enriched my Life -- Ken Nixon
