We were lucky to have Kenneth as Director of Moss Landing Marine Laboratories for 12 years. He was a champion of the "Little Marine Lab that Could" provisioning the pioneers of the future. He was a strong advocate and supporter of all the students, and used his strong construction and design skills to build quality into the new building. We will miss him.  

It’s been a couple of years since I learned of Kenneth’s death, and I still am shocked and dismayed knowing he isn’t on this earth with us anymore.  He was the prototype of what a good man could be, I think. He was the best and most admired man I knew, and I’ll miss knowing he was on earth making the world a better place.
