KC, It seems like a bad dream that you’re no longer with us. The way you laughed will always stay in my heart. So many memories we created in Florida, Mr. Keys, Bahama House, picking you up in our Boat, Hilton Plants missing, and let’s not forget the Tall One. It goes on and on. Such beautiful memories tucked in my heart forever. I miss you and will always love you for all the laughter.
I’m proud to say I was one of Kathy's Girls. She had an excellent reputation with customers and owners where her word alone was the binding contract in an ERA where things weren’t written down. Her laugh, smile, bluntness and most of all her friendship will be missed. Great memories like Avis, getting stuck in your doggie door, Bday signs as you drove on base and your “King Tut” dress.
I miss my friend Kathy. Her looks always generated great warmth (kind of like a laser going through metal). I will always remember the look I got whenever I bounced the basketball off her office wall from my office, it was so awesome I did it almost everyday!
Asking me to do “honey dos” and then telling me how I was either doing them wrong or not on her timeline. September visits to CA will never be the same. I am honored to say Kathy was my friend.
Three traits I associate with here are Love, Loyalty and Laughter. She was a friend who was there to support you when you needed it. She was as loyal as anyone could be (which intimidated and frightened my then girlfriend, now wife, the first time they met!). And that laugh of hers ... I can still hear her laughter in my head when her funny bone was tickled. Miss You!
