I am so sorry to hear of Karla's passing.   She was a delight to talk to.  I first met Karla at UAA and later at the Municipality.   For several months (which turned into years actually) we shared donuts on Saturday mornings.  We needed a treat when working weekends.  I think back on those moments fondly.   I miss her voice and smile.    

Rest in peace, Karla.  You were a delightful person and brought a ray of sunshine into many people's lives.
