Luis - I am so sorry to hear about Joe. His passing will leave a huge void in the world. My thoughts are with you and Joe's family.
Joe will be terribly missed in our lives. As his sister, his constant source of love, support, thoughtfulness and joyous humor will be missed. As his brother-in-law, his friendship as well as discussions of Japanese movies will also be deeply missed. Our love is with Luis during this difficult time.
Love, Mary (Crawford) Riley and Brian Riley
Damn, just thinking about checking in on him as I do every year or so since I have lived in California since 1988. As a Harvard PhD student new to USA from Singapore/UK he adopted me and we spent most weekends between 1984 and 1988 birding near Topsham and seeking out classic American diners after. Luis, Jack and I remember all those wonderful years on Mt Vernon Street with the great dinners and parties. We had such fun and Joe made it all the brighter. Please know we're always here if you want to talk.
Much love,
Andy and Jack

Luis~I will always remember the special warmth that Joe had. He brought a special energy into a room when he entered it. His presence will be missed by all.
I was sorry to discover recently that Joe was gone. He was an important part of my life years ago, and I am grateful for that time. Love and peace, Michael Dodd
