Mr.Bol was my favorite teacher at Pioneer High School in the late 60’s. He was my English teacher and he was so opened minded and supportive of my writing. What a truly kind and humble person he was.

Mr. Bol was by far my favorite teacher at Pioneer. Even with a rowdy class that would rather play around than study, he showed patience and humor. I found my love of literature through his teaching, and he taught me how to write from the heart. He had a smile for everyone and knew each student by name. When I'm asked who my favorite teacher was, it's easy to say Mr. Bol.  He'll be missed.
