Patrice.  So sorry to hear of John's passing.  My condolences to you and your family.  John was a dear friend and gave me a job in Jan 1979 when I really needed one.  What a joker always lifting my spirits.  Writing this with a tear in my eye.

Dear Patrice and Sean,

We are saddened to hear of John's passing.  He will be remembered as a very kind gentleman with a fun sense of humor who would put a smile on your face. He was a second father to Scott during their younger years.

John was among the great N. CA pioneers of independent AV retailers (like Honkers, Western AV, Century Stereo, Sounding Board, and Hermary’s).  As a rep, my sales calls with him were always delightful. His warm personality, sense of humor, and generosity will not be forgotten.  RIP, John.

When I met John I was 4 years old and he was 7. It was an immediate friendship. He and his little brother, Dennis were our neighbors on Annabelle Avenue. Many adventures, as all the neighborhood children played together daily. We loved playing in the nearby woods and even used our propane tank as a horse when playing “Cowboys” or as a shield when playing “Army.” He’ll never be forgotten.
