I too am a lifelong Millwall supporter who has experienced a feeling of overwhelming sadness ever since the news of John's passing broke. This is not borne out of fear for the future of my club but emanates from an overwhelming sense of loss of a truly great man. There exist few people who make a lasting impression on the lives of those he touched, but John was one of those. Sleep well.

An enormous loss for his family and of course his extended family at Millwall Football Club. I cant think of a single individual who has had such a lasting impact on our club. I am sorry that we never met so that I could thank you in person for all of your hard work and generosity. The world is poorer for your passing but richer for your life. God Bless Mr. Chairman.
