John Bailey was a wonderful mentor. He was always there to help. He was a great grandfather and provided many memories for his family. John will be missed.
Poppy always had energy for a good-humored joke and chat.
I learned many things off him— useful bits like gardening or coin collecting; but also how to demand my worth and defend my point of view in a debate. I have so many memories with him that, looking back, make me laugh. Family events will be a little less cheerful without him.
I will always remember Grandpa as a very kind man. He always had such a wonderful smile and was always happy. I remember dinners, holidays and picnics with Grandpa. I will always be grateful for the phone chats that i was able to have with him before he passed.
Grandpa was definitely one of a kind. So smart with investments, money and always knew how give great ideas on how to budget! He was a hard man and wasn’t always easy to get along with lol, but his laughter and ability to finish off a bottle, or bottles, of wine is unmatched. I know grandma is happy to see him again ??
