It was my pleasure to be able to work with John during our time together at Blue Oak Pharmaceuticals.  The memory of our many discussions as well as his unerring ability to make everyone around him happier are things that I now treasure.  Most of all, I will miss his wisdom, his humor and his friendship.  My condolences to Melinda and his entire family.
