Joan was a pillar of a person...and a loyal friend. She would drive 2 hours to my house and never once complain. Never complained about anything...even though she was probably in pain...you never heard it. She only thanked me for having her. I met Joanie through my parents who were both Polaroid employees. Over the years, Joan became my friend. This was an honor for me.
