Jeff, my brother, it still doesn’t seem real that you are gone. I’ve missed you before you were even gone. You were effortlessly “cool” and you didn’t even know it. You truly were the most interesting person I have ever known. I was and will always be proud to call you my brother- so talented, so brilliant, so worldly, so cultured, just so...cool.  I am lucky to have been a part of your life, however small a part it may have been. You will forever be in my heart and thoughts- crowding them with love and an ache that will never go away. Ever.
I wish I could hug you and tell you how much I love you. But I picture you in heaven, free as a bird, happy.... and that gives me some comfort. I know you are looking down on us and wondering what all the fuss is about. I love you Jeff, I always have and I always will.  There’s a million things I would love to tell you, but I’ll save them for when I see your beautiful face again.
