I had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with Mr. Le Gall as he often accompanied his beloved wife, Micheline, to various programs for world language educators at Stanford University as well as some social functions.  I always found him to be a fascinating individual and extend my heartfelt condolences to his family. May he Rest in Peace and much love to his widow, Micheline.  

I met Jean Louie approximately 40 years ago when I became friends with his daughter Annick. I was blessed to spend a week in his home with Micheline and got to spend time with Carol who shuttled Annick and I around to the best ice cream shops in town and to see the Rocky horror picture show. So very sorry for his passing he had a full life full of love good food and a wondfamily.
