Thank you Mom for being the best mother a child could ask for. You were a kind, thoughtful and generous person who always put family first. I will miss you more than words can say. Love, Suzy

I miss you, Janet. I so enjoyed our phone calls.  Your mind fascinated me as I could have been speaking with a young adult.  Imagine, at 102, you were worried about your taxes being completed.  Who does that at 102.  I loved our birdwatching forays into the woods in Alabama and in Arizona. You were such a good wife and Mom.

Janet was such a warm, gracious and welcoming person, whether she was hosting people in her Cupertino home or when she and Dick hosted a group of us for a ski trip many years ago when they were living in Colorado.  Thank you Janet for the wonderful memories.

Janet welcomed me into her home and brought me along to a Christmas party in 2010. I will always cherish the memory of that time spent with her and Richard. I remember the TV show, the conversation topics, the photo of her mother, Elizabeth, on a table in the room across from the front door. She was friendly and an inspirational example of how to live properly and well.
