Our condolences for your loss of Pat. I had the sincere pleasure and honor of working with Pat through the ESGR; and, during both training and response to a number of emergencies and disasters. First and foremost, he loved his family - his stories were certain to draw a smile or easy laugh. He was a fine leader, generous person, and a true Alaskan character who leaves a giant shadow.  

I am saddened to hear of Pat’s passing.   People gravitated toward Pat. He was the most charismatic person I have ever met.     A natural leader, he rose to the top of law enforcement.  Pat gave decades of service to Alaska’s retirement systems. That is when I met him.  He was laser focused on the needs of retirees.  He was an inspiration, a mentor, and a friend.  I will deeply miss him.
