I just learned of the passing of Jim Wilson today.  I am deeply saddened and shocked.
I  met Jim Wilson when I returned to work for the Item as a free lancer after having worked for the paper as a staff photographer years earlier. I liked him immediately and felt I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to work for him. My sympathies are with his family.
