I was fortunate enough to be coached by Jim at Alhambra. The impact a good coach can have on a player not only in regards to football but in life can be great. Coach was always supportive.  Over the years I was able to see coach when I performed work at various schools. Always a blessing to see him and reminisce.

Caccavo didn't have to say much and when he did it was always something meaningful. He was kind to me and my teammates at Pitt. When we did not have any resources after a season or during the rainy season, Caccavo allowed us to find ways to store our belongings safely. The immense trust that he had in his students is incomparable. Thanks, Coach for being there for us distance runners.
