I was one of the students blessed to encounter a passionate and gifted teacher in Ivan Galantic. His wisdom, his humanity, and his understanding changed me forever. I do not look at a work of art without hearing his voice. I do not travel through life without remembering his words. I will miss him, but I carry him with me always.
