Hollis was a client and friend for over 30 years.  To me, he was the epidemy of what a what a successful entrepreneur should be. Unlike Steve Jobs, he never belittled or yelled at his employees. He treated all of his employees, suppliers and customers with respect and dignity.  In return, he was respected and admired by all who knew him.  He will be greatly missed by his friends and family

It's been just barely over a year now, dear one. I've missed every single day your twinkling, bright blue eyes, so intelligent and kind. Our talks, our walks, our love of Life's adventure that sought us out and brought us together so many times over the years.  Blessings to you, my husband. With deepest love, I'm lighting this one year candle for you.

For you, my dearest, another year to renew my memories of our adventuresome life together. I miss you terribly, a piece of my heart sacred and private for you only.  I celebrate all we shared, all we learned, all challenges we faced in our life together.  Rest, my darling, rest.
Your Susan

It has now been over 6 years since your passing, yet your company is still paying out benefits to your family and to your employees.  I know that nothing would make you happier than knowing this.  You were a man of both great intelligence and great virtue.  Rest in peace knowing that you had both a successful business career and a successful life.

May13, 2022. Happy 98th Birthday, my Love. How quickly time has passed since we wordlessly shared our final  “goodbye”. But you are still as fresh and vibrant to me as the first day we met Dec. 24th 1979. Memories may recede as the present takes hold, but feelings of deep love and regard are close to the surface. You are always with me.

May 13, 2023. Happy 99th Birthday, My Love. The dogwood is blooming, as is the gorgeous magnolia and the luscious peony. They embody your softness, but also gently move in the wind, displaying the spirit of your curious nature and the persistent rhythm of the You I loved and now miss so whole heartedly. You are always with me.
