Dearest Irene: You were always so happy and gracious in life, and your smile was ever present. Although we didn't see each other often, you always embraced me with your warm hands and a big hug no matter how much time had passed between our visits. We felt your warmth with each card and letter you sent that shared events of life and family. Safe journey home. Love and miss you. Libby
Thoughtful In-law Irene: Your generous kindness will continue through all the people you have known. You will be greatly missed. Love, "In-law" Betty
Hisako was my sweet younger sister. She was living at Umenoki Gardens Senior Home where she enjoyed her years there. They took excellent care of her. She was telling me of all the delicious meals they serve and I was envious of her enjoying their nice Japanese meals. I am missing you a lot. I enjoyed all the trips to Spain, Portugal, Japan,,etc. we made. Missing you greatly. Love, Kimi
Dear Mrs. Nakano,
You were always kind to me, smiling and so positive whenever I saw you, which was usually when I'd visit you and Mr. Nakano at your Sunnyvale home. I remember the last time was at Umenoki and you enjoyed eating the delicious Japanese food they made there; you looked healthy and happy and finally gained some weight! I will miss you.
