In the world where we grew up, the parents of our friends were our parents.  They cared for us, supported us, guided us, and inspired us.  I loved Mr. King like a father, and I have held his goodness in my heart all my life.  I thank Sarah for being my forever friend and her family for welcoming me into their home and life.  I will miss Mr. and Mrs. King tremendously.  God bless them all!!

Our sympathy goes out to all the King family and friends.  Hal was indeed unforgettable and an inspiration to us all.  We shared many fun times and many conversations over the years.  We will always have fond memories of the light he brought into the world.  It was good to see him enjoying life in recent years at Westminster Canterbury.  Betty Bateman and family
