Growing up Greg was a part of my family. Often I'd arrive home from school to find him sitting at our dining room table visitng with my Mom. He's remembered with great fondness.
Greg was not only a friend, he was my MD.He was always a great listener which made him trustworthy at both. Greg had a smile and a laugh that would lift you up with his kindness and sincerity! Since we lived only blocks away from one another, we would always run into each other and catch up!!! I will miss him! My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends in this difficult time.
Words do an injustice in explaining how much we will miss Greg. He will remain very alive in our memories and admiration. I am glad to have known Greg. I realize that you have lost a special person. My son and I would stay with him back in Sacramento when I had to play in a tennis tournament in town. We also conversed about his medical tools ideals so that I could draw up some mechanical engineering patent plans for him. And Chip I can't wait to hit a few more tennis balls with you and Fitz in the memory of Greg and my personal physician Dr. Lawrence B Hooper.
Dr. Greg was my GP and friend. Every time I saw him he had a smile and was one of the most supportive Dr. My heart goes out to his family, friends and colleagues. He will be forever missed and loved. Thank you for your support and compassion from one of your biggest fans, "M&M"
I just heard of Dr. Hooper's passing. I don't have words to express how sorry I am. He was my physician since 1999, and was the best MD I could have ever asked for. Such a great personality, always delivering his best as a doctor and friend. Thank you Dr. Greg for everything!!! You will truly be missed and May you rest in peace.
What's weird is, I woke up with Greg on my heart this a.m. I'm just now hearing of his passing! Greg took great care of myself and my sons, while I resided in Calif. I wouldn't go anywhere else! I trusted his knowledge of medicine...AND he was my good friend. I will definitely say a prayer for his family tonite. His warmth and smile will be sorely missed. Thank you for your service. S.I.P.
Recently I had been thinking of old friends and Greg was one of my childhood buddies. I met Greg in Junior high and we had model airplanes in common. We remained friends through High School I am saddened to find that he has passed. He was a great guy and I have a lot of funny stories to remember from our past. rest in peace, my brother.
