… In my dreams, I'll always see you soar above the sky
In my heart, there'll always be a place for you for all my life
I'll keep a part of you with me
And everywhere I am, there you'll be
All my love, Kathy
George and I are 13 years apart and in my earliest memories I had a big crush on him when he came to visit us in Bellevue. Over the years I greatly appreciated the efforts that George made to keep in contact with the family . I loved my Aunt Zoe and Uncle Kosta as well and include them in my prayers for our dearly departed. I hope George is joining a big welcome party with them in Heaven
There are times in life when special people enter your life and for me George was one of those special times. Although my relationship with George was first business he was always so very personable and soon became my friend. He always reminded me fondly of my Dad and his attention to every detail. George had a kind heart and I very feel blessed to have known him. With gratitude.
George helped me develop a love of computer science and engineering. As I was making my way through college, gifted me a copy of The Emperors New Mind, a book that introduced me to the Turing Machine among other heady mathematical constructs. Growing up, I had no shortage of outdoorsman and car enthusiasts among my male relatives, but George was one of the few I could also really nerd out with.
I first met George on a professional level. I quickly got to know George as a sweet, caring loving man. His love for Kathy was spoken of almost every time we spoke. I am glad I was able to spend some time with him over these last few months. I will miss you George. You will always be with us in spirit.
I miss George's wit. From an email
Although chronologically I am 72 (or will be soon) sometimes I delude myself that I am somehow younger. It is not true that you are only as old as you feel. It is a saying told by healthy people to those who are less so. But when I dream, and visualize myself in that dream, I am typically around 40. So perhaps this self delusion has some beneficial effects.
Dearest George, My brother, my friend. I miss your soft voice, your smile and your warm hugs. Even tho I realize you are in the glory of the lord and the angels now, I find it so difficult to not have you with us. I see your soul flying high with the angels, and I see you sitting peacefully among the beautiful flowers and fields of green ,reading a book. We will meet again. All our love
Rest In Peace George
George was a colleague of mine at Kaiser/Hanson in Cupertino. He was a true professional, extremely intelligent and loyal.
The successes that Kaiser and Hanson enjoyed as business entities can be attributed to George and a few of his colleagues. I’m honored to have known and worked with him
Uncle George truly changed my life forever because without his great help I would have never dared to dream the different path I am now taking in my life.
Uncle George had the untamable spirit because at around 68 years old he dared to do what most people would never dare to do or try in their lifetime. He trusted me that I would take care of him when we rode a motorcycle together after he hadn't gone for a motorcycle ride in more than 40 years.
After he passed away, I felt his presence making me realize his spirit was watching over me.
I'm always grateful for the time he spend with me, until the end he always wanted to do things for others.
His wisdom will always be with me.
